The Fastest Nissan GTR in The World!

  • descriptionVideo Description

What's up my sexy mofos!!! After hearing so many of you say you wanted to see a Nissan GTR, I finally bring you the daddy of all the GTRs, the panty-dropping NISMO!

An incredible machine, but as you can see...there are many reasons why it does not make sense to have one.

    I hope you like it!

    Enjoy!!!

I wouldn't spend the extra money to get the NISMO GTR. Everyone knows that a car designed for the track wont perform well on the street

I totally agree overall. Yes if I had to have a Nissan GTR it would have to be the Nismo.

I think if money is no object then its worth the experience. If money is a value at play then is the depreciation worth it? idk

I've never really thought much about it, but that sub box in between the back seats was really irritating me in this video. It just looks horribly designed and like it doesn't belong.

The GTR is a great car but its suffering from price bloat some how. As the years have gone bye its gotten more and more expensive. They were originally 70K or so when first released and were one hell of a steal. Now they're 90-105k or so. The NISMO while awesome.. that price is just stupid. I could see it being great at 120K if you get the standard GTR versions back to the 90k range.

7:04 "Doing a handshake?" No offense Alejandro but that sounds kinda silly. I'm pretty sure the reason they do that is to preserve the lines of the car, rather than having a door handle the sticks out and interrupts the flow.

It's sad to see how much of that interior is similar to my 09 G37XS. You'd think in 7 years, plus how much more that car costs, there would be a much higher quality interior. I mean even the paddle shifters look to be the exact same. Great car, but lacking interior quality for the price.

I was thinking the exact same. I had the G35xS which your car is exactly the same inside. Even the new 2018 Infiniti interiors still share those parts. I used to LOVE LOVE my G35 but so many more cars out there that seem to have been delivering better interiors. Honestly it'd still buy that car again right now I think it's beautiful. But now I'm looking into a 2017 Jeep SRT and the interior is so much more plush

I'm looking at GT-R's right now but hell no on the Nismo, too much for the money, i'd rather get so many other cars for the price :/

Anyway, I think the GT-R is a great buy if you pick up a used one for like $75k :D

great video, sorry im going to go off topic... I love watches, work as watch repair and sales, just a little suggestion that kept stickin out at me is the buckle on your watch. Something so simple and subtle you should definitely speak with gorilla see what they can do to get you a black buckle, would change the look completely without having that chrome sticking out. I know most wont and probably don't notice, but as you know its always in the details.

Every Nissan comes with that key fob, they should have done something special with the Nismo. At least make it red colored.
The info display and paddle shifters are from my 2010 G37S :)

I don't think the Nismo is worth the money. there are many other cars that you can buy that have higher quality materials. however the GTR is a good cheap hp car. Not my flavour.

That display and key out of a 4th gen Altima in a $175,000 super car. Looks like a lot of fun though.

I'm ~$170k into my 09' GT-R and it makes ~900whp, has a full Litchfield coil-over suspension, brake upgrade, full carbon fiber interior, and a roll cage with racing harnesses. IMO the best way to buy a GT-R is used and then put money into the performance and it will blow away anything else on the road

Key slot is really just for charging the key fob, and key programming.

Also if your key fob runs out of battery, you can start the car by inserting it in there.

The R35 is the equivalent of an automotive Fleshlight - it gets the job done but has zero emotional feedback. I prefer the OG Skyline GT-R like this one:

And to answer the question. I'd buy a lesser model and mod it up. Would be significantly cheaper.
    • Jake
      1 week ago 1 P-Nos Points
Id probably do the same thing. But id go a different direction with modding than most people do with them. Shave some weight with aftermarket exhaust, rear seat delete, possibly even swap the fancy comfortable seats for a manual set without side airbags in them. And go with an adjustable coilover setup and adjustable toe links to get better road feel. Wouldnt mess with power upgrades. Try to keep the balance.

I can appreciate the GTR for what it is and the amazing engineering that has gone into it. But it's just not exciting enough for me. It's entirely too clinical IMO. Scary fast and capable though.

With Alejandro, I will buy one secondhand on a good deal but never brand new, a lot of money for a Nissan.

I Have a friend that got a Nismo on a good deal drove it for a year and sold it for the exact same price.

A Mercedes or a Nissan? Is this really a question? The AMG GTR is extremely underrated and is a great value. I would take it over most GT's and Super cars

Ale, next time you get into a car with a lot of knobs and don't know which one is the volume, keep in mind that it's usually the one on the top left.
  • McC-CocK

I would take this over the AMG GTR all day, for me this is a better looking and sounding car.
    Would I buy one?
No....I only really like the classic GTR's.
If I was getting one, I'd get the Litchfields, which I'll do a blog on! Those things are crazy.
I'd still take a Jag SVR or Vantage over either though!

comparatively the Mercedes is using engine tech that not that old (<5 years old) while the gtr is running pretty much the same engine since launch in 2009. I feel like the next new generation of Nissan GT-R will compete better with supercars since Nissan rejuvenated the gtr family. great car but in today’s electric and twin turbo v8 world the v6 might fall just short.
