Hey! My name is Danial and I'm 17 years old, currently living just south of the SVIPE crew in San Diego! I loved cars since my first few memories, I used to (and still do) collect diecast supercars and hypercars and set them up around my room. Now I'm the co-founder of a YouTube channel called Hypercharged that, of course, is focused around cars and also with my friends I've started a car club at my high school where we're trying to get our peers to learn about the different aspects of cars and appreciate them like us car guys do. I drive a Toyota Highlander that gets the job done, not really a car I'd buy but it's a hand-me-down so what can I say? I love F1 and just everything related to cars! Props to you Adam for making such a great thread, I think it's great to get to know each other ova heaaa

Hi everyone! I'm Alberto, 27 years old from Turin, Italy(heyyyyyy xD), I study computer engineering and work in a pizzeria, so I'm probably as Italian as you can get :)
Obviously computers are my main passion, but I've always loved cars, since I was a kid I'd gone to Geneva and others motorshow(Milan, Bologna, Turin) with my father which passed his passion to me. Sadly I've never been able to try a supercar and probably will never afford one since our wages are a lot less than the ones in the USA, but at least we haven't Trump :P
But when I was a kid I've ridden shotgun in an old Porsche Carrera Turbo and also in a Lancia Delta Integrale, which till to these days remains one of my dream car, and since it's owned by one of my cousins I hope one day he'll give it to me :)
Thanks for this topic, it's nice to give the name and avatar some backround and definitely helps the community bond!

Hey everyone! My name is Luis and I just turned 24. I live in the Washington, DC area and currently work as a Quality Improvement Analyst for a health insurance company. I don't drive any special cars now since I am trying to save some money to buy a house with my wife, but after I am planning to buy Porsche Cayman 718 and eventually a Super Car. Also, I currently attend University of Maryland to obtain a BA in Computer Science.

Hi I'm Cornelius, and I think I'm the grandpa here with my 36 years ^^
I live in germany near the french boarder and a few miles away from the most beautiful little village where "The Donald" grandfather came from.
I own a black Mercedes C230 with an V6 engine (S204) and a white E200 (W210 like the one Ale blew up). The E200 is our dirt car to drive to the
horse stables or to the supermarket, I hope it does last one or two years because it has so many scratches that I don't have to care about
where to park or where to drive, it's a very relaxing old sofa with a lot of metal sheet around it. I work in the IT sector and like garden works on
my 1000 sqm property where I live with my girfriend, our dog and a bunch of goldfishs. We have also squirrels (red) in the garden because of our
    hazel trees :-)

I like whats going on ova heea. My username is something that has stuck with me in the recent past as all the people I know think of me resembling a bear haha. My name is Luqman Qureshi and I am 20 years old currently living in Reno, Nevada. I started life being born in Germany, then I moved to Pakistan and then to London. Up until I was 10 years old, I was in London, just outside of Frankfurt and in Lahore for about 33.33% of the time each year. Hopped around quite a bit. When I was 10 my family unexpectedly moved to Reno towards the end of our summer in Germany and I did not understand it, however, it was the best thing that ever happened to look back at it.

I am now in my Junior year of University getting a double major in mechanical engineering and economics with a minor in finance.

My love for cars has been with me since I remember playing with Hotwheels before I could speak haha. Specifically Mercedes Benz. MB has been a staple in my family since the 1960's and now it has filtered down to me as I drive a W210 E320, soon to be a W211 E55. My first time driving on a road was actually when I was 15 years old in Germany for the summer. My grandfather got tired and had me drive for 3 hours back home on the Autobahn in his W210.

Anyways, I have been watching the Youtube videos since the day I stumbled across the video of Alejandro driving the Huayra with the red interior (before his collection of the legendary 730s). I subscribed right then and there and have loved every single moment. I thank you guys for putting out such great content that is enjoyable and the fact that you guys come across as genuine people. Can't say that about the majority of people on youtube. Most of the time I just end up getting sviped with clickbait or some shit haha. This website, although I don't interact much, is what I come to at the end of each day to chill and I look forward to it.
Sorry for making this pretty long, I thought I would write most of it down since I have been lurking around since almost the start lol.
One more thing, I work as a Valet to pay for tuition and It is exhilarating with all the funny moments, cool cars and crazy stories. Ask me about it if you'd like.

    Cheers guys!

Ugh, I try to stay anonymous but oh well. My name is Cole, I'm 37 I think, and I work on and install gnss guidance systems for heavy equipment, primarily bladed machines and intelligent compaction systems. I live in Placerville, between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe in Northern California. I started following Alejandro on Instagram after seeing his Aventador, and he didn't seem to mind my idiotic comments so I figured he was an alright dude... Or mentally deranged like I am. You can find me on IG at @dirtyfivethirtygarage, but I tend to focus more on old crusty junk with the occasional exotic thrown in to annoy my followers. Future goals would be to find more cars to flip and possibly swallow my pride and try getting in front of the camera in some form of car/barnfind related media...

I drive a Hyundai i30, Opel Astra (like Adam Lackenby), a BMW F01 7 series, and few other monstrosities such as Renault Trafic and Renault Master (family owns a company, so they're needed).

I'm a BMW fanboy, especially the E46 M3, and I like the direction this channel is heading towards. I've been following since the "TIP: How to Liberty Walk Your Car" and really became addicted during Rimac vs 918 race.

Yo yo yo mofos! My name is Daniel I'm 32 DOB 12/11/1984 from San fransico east bay (Oakland/Hayward). I've been following our dude since the LFA video with Gordon.. His personality had me hooked 🤘. Pro member since 1/27/17. I loved classic Chevys growing up, because of pops.. But, I always had a passion for exotic 🏎's just thought it was not possible for an average cat like myself to achieve. Ale change that mindset inside of me and made me realize you can love these cars and if you bust your ass hard enough you can buy one and make your dream a reality!!. No excuses.
If you have similar dream or feels, Just Do It!! I'm working my day job in San Jose at a Battery start up 10hr days then go home and work until 2am building my 🌲💨cannabis brand.. my goal is an 720s in the next 3yrs🤞.. Now that I'm doing what makes me happy and chasing my goals the last year or so, people around me are helping and supporting me.. same for you once you start. Your family and friends will see you are following what makes you truly happy and will want to do nothing more but to help you reach your goals!. Not sure how this turned into following your dreams/ goals post, but yeah.

Ale has changed my life forever and I will do the same for others someday!!.

    I Love all you motherfuckers!!

Hi guys, my name is Nuno, 33 years old and I live near Lisbon, Portugal. Work in business consulting to financial services.

I actually own a Ford Fiesta to drive everyday (cars and gas are kind of expensive over here). I've been a petrolhead all my life, and it's a family thing since my grandfather and dad both are connected to cars in their lives. So, I had a couple of cars since my 18 : Peugeot 205 CTI, Peugeot 106 Rally, VW Golf II CL, VW Golf II GTD, Mazda MX-5 mk1, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Audi A6 Allroad. I've been fortunate to drive some epic cars (im my book) like: a couple of 911's Carrera, Alfa-Romeo 1300 Gt Junior, Honda S2000, Audi RS2 Avant and a lot of AMG's ( C, E and S class) and other classic cars.

In the future I expect to have a simple garage with 3 cars: a fun classic to race, like a Datsun 1200, a convertible 4by4 and a wagon to everyday use.

Hey guys, my name is Govind Singh. I'm 24, live in Minneapolis, MN (yeah it gets fuckin cold ovaa heeaaaa), and work as an IT Project Manager.

I have been fascinated with cars ever since I was a toddler (what my mom tells me), and my hot wheels collection speaks for it. I'm the only fool driving an RWD 2014 C250 here in MN, but it is fun to power slide at every intersection.

I have been following Ale on instagram for over 2 years now, and have been watching his videos when Pedro was his imaginary friend. Great to see how far Ale and the boys have come, and how well they have contributed to the car community.

I have to admit, i got really pissed off when the "daily vlogging" took over the channel, but it has grown on me, and the channel structure is top notch at the moment. It's also great to see how as a community, we are able to contribute to the channel content. Looking forward to more shenanigans with you all :)

Kinda Late to the party, but here goes nothing...
I am David, I live in Nashville, TN. My username is/was my rapper name from high school. My hit single was a song named "Dab on these Hoes" ( available on SoundCloud) I am currently a sophomore , but also help run my family business. So when I'm not in school, I'm at work and viceversa. Ale's videos and this website are a good outlet for me, for example, I just got done typing a late paper because I had so much work yesterday , that I had to set it off for today( paper will be a day late with a 20% grade penalty). It s is currently 2:00 AM here in TN, but coming on here and watching videos and interacting with the community really helps ease off some of the burden. and for that I am thankful for that. I currently have a 2006 Honda Civic Sedan that's I absolutely love, the car could have been at the junkyard a long time ago but I have kept it because I love it so much, all 120 HP of her ( she is named Getzemarie). I also have a Acura RSX Type-S as a project car.

What is up all you beautiful sex machines.

My name is Bryce and I'm 24 years old. Born and raised in the arctic tundra of MN and that's where I currently reside.

I have a 2005 Mitsubishi Evo that I bought 4 years ago. It was stock then and now makes 700whp that's fully built. It will sound cliche but ever since I saw 2 Fast 2 Furious I knew one day I'd have one. Lonebehold my dream car at age 20. I've been absolutely obsessed with cars ever since I could pick up a wrench. I went to Universal Technical Institute for an automotive degree and now work for Target HQ.

Currently saving so my good friend and I can put money down on a real estate deal and start our real estate rental and leasing company.

You can say I have an obsession with speed as I also have a 2012 BMW S1000RR. (For sale)

I've been watching Ale forever and he's inspired me to start my own channel. Five Speed. I've been slow at uploading lately since I started a sleeve tattoo and my longish distance relationship have devoted most of my time but it's circled around vlogs and automotive content.

Too many dream cars to list. Look forward to getting to know you guys! Huge shoutout to Ale who put this platform together to revolutionize how us gearheads can come together with a common interest!

    Hola Salo Community!

My name is Calvin and I am 27 years old. I'm here because this is the only thing I look forward to every night after a long day of work. And that, I say thanks to the Ale and the Salomondrin crew!!! And because ale is real as fuck! Also, I can't relate to other cars guys because they don't have the same vision and relation as this community.

    Reside...
Currently living in Dallas, TX. Pedro's from here?

    Me?
    I'm a business owner!
    - I own a couple restaurants! I have 3 OMG Tacos (Ale, collaboration restaurant?), Chubby Tuna Sushi Burritos , Sweet Daze Dessert Bar and another secret concept coming soon! Shameless plugs here: @omgtacostx, @sweetdazetx, @chubbytunaco
    - I'm into some stock trading
    - I started a used car dealership with a friend but we are taking our time. It's called Hype Motorsports! @hypemotorsportstx
    - I am saving to invest in commercial real estate property
    - I had an idea about doing car vlogs because I'm the biggest car fan that I know of. Check it out! @calviin

My real dream is to be a F1 driver but I'm far from that now. Maybe LeMans is in the books!

It also seems that anything tech will bring you up because everything is the future! More SVIPE plz!!!

    Cars:
I've probably been through so many cars because I was once broke and just started flipping my own cars.
Here are some memorable ones: 2006 Acura RSX Type-S, 2008 Lexus IS250 (Lamborghini Celeste paint and bagged!) I currently have a track ready 2008 BMW M3 e92, fully gutted with a cage!

    Upcoming cars:
I had a deposit put down for a AMG GTR in Green Hell but I pulled out because I kept receiving empty promises. So I was on the fence for a 570S or a GT3RS. BUT I decided to put a deposit down for a Huracan Performante! I feel like that would bring the greatest joy. If the price drops on the 675LT, I would consider that!

And plan on getting a G63 and lifting it with 22" off road tires, etc etc

    Future cars line up
488 GTO, GT2RS, F12TDF, Chiron, Koenigsegg Agera R, Pagani Huayra BC, Porsche Cup Car, Wraith Black Badge, Bentley Mulsanne

When I was younger, I never thought I would have this dream of being successful because I was so spoiled growing up. Until my family lost everything and I knew nothing about the real world. So I decided to move out away from my family with nothing. Couch surfed for months until I got a job. And not knowing how much I needed to work to pay bills. From having everything to having nothing really taught me how to be where I am now. Now I have all these aspirations and look up to people to be like them. And hard work will pay off! Also, follow your dreams!

And my Weimaraner love to drive in passenger seat!
Especially when I got pushed to the seat during the acceleration.

Also have Infiniti FX50S. 390hp SUV. Faster than the bummer and freaking pig. Kinda scary, but I love it. Want to get x6m later on.

    Why I am here?
    Freaking love cars!

    Next cars on the list:
    E92 m3.. e39 m5. X6m, ahh m2 :/
    997 non turbo..
Really want new c63 amg and gt.. also want to own e55.

Ale and guys! On serious note! Do some episodes comparing bmw vs Mercedes vs audi. You guys doing great job of doing of non car reviews. With this fun you guys have for bmw and love for Mercedes that will be interesting to watch :)

This is a cool idea man. I'm Jason. 30 years old, born and raised in NYC. I supervise the guest relations department at a hotel here. I also have the gift/curse of owning a car (wouldn't be a curse if it were anywhere but NYC haha). Its a 2010 Chevy Malibu. Yep, boring rental car... but I've made it my own and learned to love it, and now I can't see myself without a car, period. I found Salomondrin a loooong time ago from a picture of the 730S on an automotive website. I HAD to find out who owned this car, as I thought it was probably the best looking car I'd ever seen at that point and wanted to know who I envied lol. Once I found the channel, I was hooked.
I LOVE cars, always have, always will. I can talk about them for hours, but unfortunately I rarely have time to chat here as much as I want. NY is expensive, so I gotta work pretty hard. But, I love the community here whenever I get a chance to take a few minutes and look around.

I spent a few weeks in Sydney for work and absolutely loved that city. I have to ask though... any spiders in your area? You see videos and hear horror stories and when I was there I encountered nothing but was also in populated areas the whole time.

I have never been to Sydney myself mate. So you are 1 up on me there haha. Also plenty of spidets but they keep to themselves same as the snakes. If you leave them alone they leave you alone. In saying that though i used to go out and catch Redback spiders as a kid, i was bought up on a dairy farm.

I'll play. I'm 16 years old, from Winnipeg Canada. I'm saving up for my first car, hopefully a cheap sports car (Miata, BRZ, Civic SI, etc). I've been watching Salomondrin since the very beginning of his channel, his videos offer such a unique take combining daily vlog and car reviews. I hope to be a software engineer later on in life as I am quite interested in technology and programming. I take 2 computer courses at school and do coding on the side as a hobby. Also, because now that school has started and I have loads of homework and extracurricular activities I can't post as often as I did in the summer. I will try to be more active and post more, so keep your eyes open for new posts coming soon! Thanks for reading.

    I'll play.

I'm MrJDD, the JDD is my initials. I'm a 35 year old software developer working for Amazon, living in Seattle with my Wife and two kids. I have a '17 Mustang GT, '10 Audi A3 and '96 Miata which I am starting to enjoy working on. We're hoping to build the Miata up to do some Autocross but so far I've focused on doing that to the Mustang instead. Someday I guess they'll both be track ready. I spend far too much time on a computer so I'm often here, on Youtube or similar, wasting time waiting for software to build and such. I haven't been posting much recently though as I've had to focus my attention elsewhere but hope to get back here more often.

Wow that is so cool. well I guess this might be a good question to ask you. I am 16 and I want to become a Software developer and I don't know if I should go college and learn there Or go to multiple coding boot camps and put my money there instead. I would love to get some advice.
    • mrjdd
      2 months ago 2 P-Nos Points
This all depends on how you want to start your career; work for a small company or a larger corporation. If you are a sufficient self learner you may be able to skip college, get some experience developing something like an app and run as an independent dev. You can also get hired on with a smaller company in that route as well, having know-how with no degree.

Most of the interviewing I've done at Amazon have either been someone with 0 experience but recently graduated with a CS degree, or someone with a few years experience. If you have some experience we don't look at education and focus more on your coding ability.

      2 months ago 2 P-Nos Points
Damn man. Yeah, hiring decisions are one of those all or nothing things and if one guy isn't inclined it's pretty much a no. That said, always try again! Your recruiter should have offered you a reason as to why it didn't work out and there are always other teams looking. You ever check out Exotics@RTC?
    • yaropark
      2 months ago 1 P-Nos Points
The recruiter just said they won't say what is the reason due their policy.
But I am fine, will try again later on. 6-12 months wait time before another attempt. Getting 1-2 interview requests from recruiters from different Amazon groups.

Yeah, I have been going to Exotics@RTC almost every Saturday. Sometimes is just the same. I love special events like British, Ferrari or Lambo day. Big kudos to organizers and volunteers who make it happens!

You must have gotten a bummer of a recruiter! DM me on instagram (@themrjdd), I could probably help match you with a team based on your interests if you still want to come over to Amazon. I'm at E@RTC every weekend, I often wear a SVIPE hat. On Lambo day I wore my Lamb+Boar+Guinea pig shirt. I'm often times sporting a messy beard so I shouldn't be too hard to spot!

If it helps, no one in a real interview is going to ask you to demonstrate language specific questions. Learn OOP concepts as well as you can. Get friendly with data structures and understand them as best as you can. Learning Java is a good thing, it's very widely used and more desirable for a Software Developer in most enterprise applications. Learn any and as many languages as you want though but don't forget about actual programming concepts like sorting, trees, etc... which are applicable in most all languages.

I started out on my dads bikes too, a Suzuki gs500 and a Ducati multistrada 1200. That H2 will be sick (not to be that guy) but I'd definitely recommend something in th 6-800cc range first to ease into it. There's so little room for error with the literbikes, I've been riding the 848 and multistrada for a while and I'm still scared of the panigales

Perfect! It's nice getting in with a brand/dealer too. Once you've bought a bike from them they are definitely gonna let you test ride the good stuff too! I got into Ducati through my pops, since he was a regular when I went with him to get work done we could pretty much take anything out, which having only ridden a 500$ used Suzuki was a dream come true haha

Great idea Adam - it's been a pleasure to share ideas and discussions with many on here.

My name on here is penfold102. My nickname at school was Penfold because my classmates thought I looked a bit like Penfold from Danger Mouse (look it up if you are not fond of 80s British cartoons) even though I don't really.

My real name is Olly Lord. I'm a 35 year old English teacher, born in West Sussex in the UK, but grew up in Surrey on the border with London. I currently live in Yokohama, Japan, where I'm teaching English in a private school for rich adults and spoiled kids. I got married in June to the love of my life (2nd only to my old Elise) and absolutely love life in Japan.

I currently have no car as there's really no point owning one where I live, but I occasionally hire a car to quench my thirst. My car history was a 1985 1.1 Ford Fiesta Popular, a 1997 Seat Ibiza 1.2, a 2003 Mini Cooper S (my only new purchase) and my 2003 Lotus Elise 111S (sigh).

I've been watching Salomondrin for a couple of years on Youtube. It's given me respite in times of stress and worry, and laughs galore in times of happiness. I joined this site quite recently but learned quickly what a great bunch of people share their experiences on here. It's now the first thing I check when I wake up.

My car passions have always been lightweight, hand-built British sportscars, Brabuses, Alpinas and RUFs. Happy to discuss anything petrol-related though.

It's hard to pick one thing - the food would definitely be up there. The landscape is so varied and there's just so much to see and do. Contrary to many opinions, it's not that expensive for a developed nation. Oh, and it's incredibly safe - virtually no petty crime here.

Japanese is a notoriously difficult language to master. I've been studying by myself for nearly 8 years and have a Japanese wife and I'd describe myself as intermediate level at best. I can hold decent conversations and am able to express myself but my grammar is all over the place.

Yeah no rider aids on that thing it's all on you! Day to day it switches what I want to build, can't make up my mind! I'd love to get a cheap r6 or something to set up as a track bike

Nice, my dad is 71 and 2 years ago bought himself a Diavel carbon. I hope I'm like that in my 70's

Dude the Diavel is the hardest accelerating bike I've ever been on. It's nuts. The launch control is absurd

Make sure to hit me up if you ever come to AZ for Jeeping or snowboarding. If you need any suggestion on what to climb out here I know a bit also. Much bigger mountains in the west than Virginia. LOL

Thanks bro! Lived in Colorado for a few years so I've done a good bit of exploring in the Rockies! Maybe I'll make it to Taos this year, stationed in Houston starting in January

So my Username is a bit giving towards my real name haha! I'm Adam Lackenby. I'm 26 years old and I live in the U.K., more specifically, in East Sussex (Not far from Goodwood).

I drive a Vauxhall Astra 2.0L Turbo with 240bhp and I'm a huge fan of Lamborghini and Mercedes.

Been watching Salomondrin for about a year now. It's really helped me a lot over the last 6 months as my Dad got diagnosed with cancer and it's been very stressful but the channel and this website/community has been GREAT! Can't thank you guys enough!

What's one thing you absolutely recommend when visiting the UK? Last time I was in London I didn't really know what to do and ended up just getting a long tour of the city. I went to a fish and chips place inside of a shopping mall, because I didn't know of any good places, and it wasn't very good

All depends what your looking for. I'm a huge fan of London, especially for the cars. Going to Knightsbridge (Harrods) and park lane/Mayfair you WILL 100% find some incredible supercars. Last time out I saw. Zonda, McLaren, 918 and about 15 Aventadors haha!

Good wise, Nando's is great. Fish and chips in the city is a bit like getting a deep dish pizza in New York. The best Fish and Chips will be at the coastal cities/towns like Brighton.
